About this course

Gravity Academy’s “Psychoanalysis and Self-Awareness” course offers a pioneering approach, integrating psychoanalysis and self-awareness as central tools for addressing social exclusion and developing a deep understanding of oneself and others. The methodology values learning about personal and social dynamics, promoting an inclusive and diversity-focused education.

Students are encouraged to explore the connections between personal and intellectual experiences, with ongoing support for academic research on human psychodynamics and social diversity. In addition to preparing professionals for psychoanalytic practice, the course encourages reflection and research on the causes of social inequalities and systemic prejudices, aiming to contribute to a more just and inclusive society.

The program introduces the “Universal Pedagogy of Diversity (UPD)”, which improves the school environment and the interaction between students and teachers, and proposes a change in the traditional paradigms of psychoanalysis, approaching the Metapsychoanalysis manifesto with a progressive vision.
